A mare that embodies what a German Riding pony is and should be
Born and raised in Belgium, Dewy brings forward the temperament and movement quality which is paramount to the German Riding pony. Her calm demeanor and people orientation make her a reliable and engaging pony to have around.
Acquired through a breed lease, we struggled for 4 years to get Dewy in foal and carry to term. Her story is evidence that persistence pays off! In June of 2022, Dewy foaled a colt sired by Deja D’or (Dornik B x Cassini) who we are offering to a loving home. more information and photos of this colt we are calling Finn can be found on our ‘For Sale’ page.
After an unsuccessful attempt to breed her in 2022, we made the difficult decision to retire this sweet mare from breeding. She is now enjoying a life on green pastures with loads of pampering!
