MKK Worth the Wait

The pillar of our program, MKK Worth the Wait (aka Tess) was the inspiration behind what we started. She embodied the athletic, easy-to-work-with, fun equine partner we wanted to build our program around. Long before we knew what a German Riding pony was, we knew there was a need for more ponies like Tess. 

Intrinsically, Tess had the personality and work ethic that every rider dreams of. Smart, willing and able, she tried every ride and seemed to know what you wanted well before you asked. The work came so easy for her, making her the ideal pony to train. 

When we were finally able to breed her, we matched Tess to the small Hanoverian stallion Ridley.  The result is our sweet, modern, fun and athletic mare CGF Ruella (aka Katie). We are forever grateful for the gifts that Tess has provided to us.
