We are delighted to welcome this exciting, Premium mare to our program!

Bred by Fox Creek Farm, North America’s largest and oldest German Riding pony breeding program, Dolce is an authentic German Riding pony who hails from some of the finest lines of GRP breeding.

Prior to joining the mare team of CGF, Dolce was raised and trained by an amueter dressage rider. Raised from a weanling, her former owner trained her to schooling the PSG movements, including half pass, flying changes and half steps. Her fantastic brain, incredible willingness, natural uphill movement and physical abilities lent her to reach the FEI level so early on in her years. Now in the next phase of her life, we are excited to match her for breeding future generations of German Riding pony talent for North America.

Dolce’s walk and canter are both phenomenal, giving her rider a lovely, uphill, round feel. Her trot is active and swinging; covering both ground as well as a fantastic swing. At her RPSI foal inspection, she was awarded Gold Premium with an overall score of 8.2 and a remarkable score of 8.8 for movement!

Dolce’s Sireline: Fox Creek’s Diamond King was champion of his 30-day test. His progeny are finding success both in the competition ring as well as the breeding shed. Sired by the legendary Dance Star NRW, ‘King’ was imported in utero by his breeder.

Dance Star was awarded the designation ‘NRW’ in 2019 for his accomplishments in shaping the Westfalen pony breeding. A top young pony himself, he was awarded Bundeschampion in 2009 and Bronze Bundeschampionat in 2010. Dance Star has sired many licensed stallion sons and States Premium daughters who have themselves been awarded national titles. Dance Star is by the legendary Dressman I and out of foundational mare St.Pr.St. Gina (Folklore).

Diamond King’s damsire is the Elite stallion Kennedy. Kennedy is sired by the Elite stallion Kaiserjaeger XX and is out of a daughter of foundational stallion Brilliant. Kennedy was champion of his 2003 Weser-Ems stallion show and has competed successfully in Germany up to the Prix St. George with teenager, Theresa Meyer.  His show record under saddle is incredible, with 32 victories and 85 places from riding pony classes to Prix St. Georg level, with 25 of those victories at L – M Level.

Kennedy has proven himself through his numerous German Riding Pony progeny, awarded the coveted title “Elitehengst” in Weser-Ems for numerous approved stallions and state premium mares.

Dolce’s Damline: As breeders, it’s the dam line we value most when selecting new additions, and Dolce’s damline is nothing short of German Riding pony royalty. Her dam, Fox Creek’s Designed by Dior, was imported to the USA, sired by Dior de Lux (by FS Don’t Worry from a daughter of the foundational Golden Dancer).

Dolce’s grand-dam is the legendary St.Pr.St. Seven Mountain Nasty. Nasty was invited into the FN Broodmare Hall of Fame for the consistently high quality of her offspring.  She has produced all States Premium daughters, the most famous of who is Seven Mountain Derbyna; the 2002 4 yr old Bundeschampion Dressage Pony Mares.

Dolce is linebred Brilliant(4x5), Golden Dancer (4x5), Power Boy (5x5), the legendary mare Gina (5x5). This presents both a challenge and an opportunity to match her with stallions to tap into her successful heritage.
